The bulk of the material presented here was compiled by my great great uncle, Irving Pierce Beckett, in March of 1949. My plan is to continue where he left off and fill in as many blanks as I can along the way.
In the spirit of our family motto, I must point out that some of my relative's text contains evidence of prejudice and bigotry. I chose not to edit those passages - at the risk of offending some - so that those who follow us can testify to the end of hatred and intolerance within the Beckett family tree.Daniel G.
